No need to mask outdoors.
Fully vaccinated Americans do not need to wear masks outdoors unless they are in a big crowd of strangers. In some cases, those who are not vaccinated can go without a face covering also. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released the updated guidance Tuesday in another of its carefully calibrated steps on the road back to normal.
The change comes as more than half of U.S. adults have received at least one dose of coronavirus vaccine, and more than a third have been fully vaccinated.
The CDC recommends that everyone continue wearing masks at crowded outdoor events such as concerts or sporting events. The mask guidance continues for indoor public places, such as hair salons, restaurants, shopping centers, museums, and movie theaters.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the CDC to release the most accurate data and recommendations on the waning pandemic.
- For the president and his administration to have discernment regarding continued mitigation measures for the American public.
